Preparing for the Catalog Shoot

Every year The Fashion School creates a catalog to correspond with the Annual Fashion Show.  The catalog showcases the senior's work and includes information about the collections, information about The Fashion School, and lists the names of the management team members. The finished catalog will be available for be purchased at the show.

The photo shoots will take place over the next couple weeks.  We just received the garments that will be photographed and the next step is organizing them and deciding how they will be shot.

We've been hard at work coming up with a theme and can't wait to see all the models styled and in front of the camera!

Floor Plans

This year the Fashion Show will take place in the Kent State University Museum. Because of this the seating and choreography is different then anything that we have done before.  Junior Co Producer, Jessica Ballas, planned seating as if it were a puzzle, arranging and adding seats where they would fit.  The galleries in the museum will house most of the seating and the guests will get an up close look at the garments as the models walk by.  This year's show will provide a more personal experience than past years where the models were up on a stage.

The Planning Process

The planning for the FsSquared fashion show is a process that takes a full semester of hard work.  The management team meets biweekly to discuss plans and share ideas.  As the show approaches even more time will be dedicated to making the production memorable and showing-off the talents of  the senior design students.
